Welcome to our church website,
We are a friendly, small yet energetic church situated in the heart of Great Dunmow, where the age of our congregation ranges from under ten years to over 80 years. The morning an d evening Sunday services usually last around an hour and include a children’s talk.
Children are encouraged to be part of the congregation so we do not provide a formal crèche or other alternative activities; there is a new double glazed gallery with an audio link, so those with young children can continue to see and hear the service without feeling they are creating a disturbance.
Most services are taken by our pastor, with around twelve Sundays a year being taken by various representatives of associated societies, for example, the Grace Baptist Mission and speakers from other like-minded churches.
Our services follow a traditional format, are family-friendly where everyone feels a part of the worship. Questionnaire-like service sheets are provided to help young and old alike to participate by filling in the blanks and making notes on the sermon. The children who regularly hand in their service sheets are rewarded periodically.
We have no particular dress code and we do not take up collections during the service. Any donations are made via a donations box provided for the purpose.
A conveniently placed toilet facility, suitable for all, is available for use before, during and after the church services.
During the services, we use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible and sing traditional and modern songs from New Christian Hymns. We use other versions of the Bible, where appropriate during our other activities.
You are very welcome to come along to any of our meetings, please take a look at our calendar or contact us for further details.

We meet at the "The Ark" chapel in Angel Lane, Great Dunmow for Sunday services and Sunday and weekday clubs or in a church members home for the weekly Bible study and prayer meeting.
