We will be holding our Sunday morning service at 11am until midday each week in the Rowena Davey Centre, also known as the Dunmow Day Centre at Chequers Lane, Great Dunmow, CM6 1EQ. We will have more space and be able to have a more flexible and informal style service.
Activities include worship, good Bible teaching, a creche, childrens activities, light refreshments and a chance to chat.
Come and join in, we look forward to seeing you there.
The way we work
We have elders and deacons who have overall responsibility to keep the church in line with God’s Word (the Bible) and to oversee activities. Andrew, John, Marcus and Philip serve the church in these roles. The main teaching responsibility is given to Philip.
We operate a system of congregational church government where the elders bring matters and recommendations to the meeting of church members. Any member of the church may propose items for consideration and all members have an equal voting status. We do not claim perfection in our decision making, but do try to be open and honest, willing to consider various points of view. Our overall aim is to be Biblical in all of our attitudes and activities. Church meetings are held twice a year.
